I think the bi-monthly get togethers with your new family is healthy. If we all lived in the same part of the country I'd suggest a similar system for your blood relations. Maybe you and Mrs. R should come to Dan's house for Thanksgiving. Tess and I show up there every year whether they want us to or not.Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07838683246636045823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-1125518586959841152005-08-31T13:03:00.000-07:002005-08-31T13:03:00.000-07:00Just so you know, I wore the Beavis and Butthead s...Just so you know, I wore the Beavis and Butthead shirt until all the holes made the shirt redundant.

Currently I'm wearing this t-shirt:

http://www.cafepress.com/illwillpress.12600846

Only mine says "My Mom Over Medicates Me!"

My inlaws have a get together about every other month for the birthdays and holidays. Compared to how our clan does things it's quite a social shock. The upside of our clan's way is that no one sees enough of one another to really have family politics. The upside of my inlaws' way is that they seem more likely to unite to support a common front.R.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03774469060066226829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-1125438007964000422005-08-30T14:40:00.000-07:002005-08-30T14:40:00.000-07:00Hey Lights,Sounds like it would be worth the effor...Hey Lights,

Sounds like it would be worth the effort, especially if they are all in one area. I think most of my relatives are still in Boise. I suppose one way for me to get to know them would be to win the lottery.

And Thanks JQP, I trust the surgery was successful.Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07838683246636045823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-1125424704605350282005-08-30T10:58:00.000-07:002005-08-30T10:58:00.000-07:00ya know that was a damn good post...you hit the na...ya know that was a damn good post...

you hit the nail on the head on a few things for me, reg. how I get along with my family and brother.

well done and good show!

JQPJohn Q. You would think people related to us would be the ones who know us best.

Teri, hell must be getting pretty crowded these days. At least you and Shandi know each other. She is the ONLY one I trust with it... and because of it... she is the only one that knows the real me.
No one else in my family has taken the time to get to know me. They are most comfortable with the naive little shandi image they have had since infancy and would bout die if they saw the filth on my blog.
"Poor little shandi is going to hell." "Hey, I'll say HI to grandpa for ya when i get there."
At risk of rambling... I'll stop here. But... loved the post. I can relate (no pun).Naughti Biscottihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11954505278010003963noreply@blogger.com
