It is good to have you back.

Regarding going home, having small children has definitely made me more aware that they are building memories and I try to do everything I can to make their memories of home, good ones.

Clara,

I'm glad you wandered in and decided to return. I haven't found anything you've written to be sappy. On the contrary, you have honest, cut to the chase quality that is refreshing. And you can spell je ne sais quoi :)Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07838683246636045823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-32482429861606091582011-06-04T19:39:51.920-07:002011-06-04T19:39:51.920-07:00You are quite right. I wax completely sappy from time to time and then realize what I have just written is a conglomeration of things I or someone else has said before and it's usually complete crap. Ha. Anyway, I was one of your category 1 types, but stuck around. You have a certain je ne sais quoi.
And yes. You were my favourite right from the start.

That made me feel melon-collie when I read about going "home". Occasionally I drive down the road on which I used to live and I can't believe how small everything looks. I thought our street was so long as a child but in reality it is little more than a longish lane. I haven't driven down there in a while because it doesn't feel or look like the scene of my wonderful childhood anymore so I keep my memories intact exactly as they have always been. Its much better that way.Gypsy Dancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08797489818310314430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-75232496269116834452011-06-03T14:44:16.902-07:002011-06-03T14:44:16.902-07:00Thanks Kyle! After all, now you can say you've been to Graceland and Dizgraceland :)Timehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07838683246636045823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7861874.post-62901943126488436452011-06-03T14:15:27.892-07:002011-06-03T14:15:27.892-07:00If it's any consolation, I purposely gravitate...If it's any consolation, I purposely gravitate back to your blog. I did 'stumble' upon it initially, but it turns out you actually have really funny and insightful things to say. That and your blog has a sweet name. :) Oh, and your point about blogs being new-age confessionals? Brilliant.Kylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09316257258136399517noreply@blogger.com
