Far Out!

I never really got into the Grateful Dead. I couldn't even tell you any of their songs. I was more of a Beatles kind of person.  But I respect the Dead and I know they had a very loyal following.  So when I saw a listing on ebay for a Grateful Dead Monopoly game signed by the game creator, Debbie Gold, I had to snag it to try and resell it.

I did some research and Debbie Gold (who has since passed on) was friends with the Dead. So the game is a bit of Dead history and what a long, strange game it is. I've had it listed on eBay for a few weeks and so far no one, Dead or Alive, have shown any interest. So I promoted in on Bluesky.  Not sure how many Dead Heads there are out there, but I think this is pretty cool. But then again, I'm a sucker for one of a kind things.

I also launched the next ad in my Dizgraceland Dizigns campaign.

I thought I was showing some sensitivity by calling it sharp dressed person and not sharp dressed man. But you have to be a ZZ Top fan to get it anyway. I think I look pretty damned cool as ZZ Top type musicians. And I look much slimmer than I do as Jerry Garcia.  You never know how ChatGPT's image app is going to portray you. I've taken exception to some of its depictions of me as being fairly portly. ChatGPT just blathers on about the image app trying to judge proportions just from the head shots I share with it. I don't buy that bull.

I thought I had shared this previous ad where I riffed on Dos Equis' most interesting man in the world.  I was pretty proud of it, though not a single like or comment. Being a t-shirt mogul is a difficult job. I have to say, I'm having almost more fun coming up with ads for the shirts than I do with the designs themselves. The ads haven't seemed be any more effective than the designs themselves.

It wears on you after awhile...
