August is apparently a big deal for traffic signals The first electric traffic light installed in the U.S. was at the intersection of East 105th Street and Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio on August 5, 1914. Who said nothing exciting ever happens in Cleveland...or Ohio. Something tells me there are still cars sitting there waiting for the signal to turn green.
According to the National Day people, it is also Stop on Red Week AND today is International Traffic Light Day. This is important because we have nothing else to worry about in the world. Except maybe for the facists taking over America, ICE, outrageous inflaction, an escalating war in the Middle East (that the U.S. started BTW) and out of control fires inspired by people who poo-poo Global Warming.
Other than that, every thing is okay.
But I think focusing on traffic lights sends a mixed signal.
