It is National Funeral Director and Mortician Recognition Day. It is not a job I would ever want. Though in high school when they made us take those aptitude tests to determine what career your personality fit with I seem to remember Funeral Director was on there. I never pursued that.
To commemorate it on Social I reposted my designs for the Final Roast.
I doubt if I'll get a like from the National Calendar people. It is probably not the image they are trying to help the Funeral Directors and Morticians convey. Though I imagine it is an industry that could use a bit of levity. But I suppose they would say that taking care of the remains of someone's loved one is no laughing matter.
They probably wouldn't like this design, either.
