Just be greatful I chose an animal when I decided to make an ass out of myself. Then you'd probably just have thought I was a delightful old codger, but twisted (but still hairy).

That is a philosophical question. Because I do tend to identify with Democrats more than Republicans. But a donkey is not an ass. Then again, all politicians, Republican and Democrat, tend to be asses. On the other hand, I'd rather not affiliate myself with any of those asses. I'm unique in my assness. Or is it uniquely an ass? Hmmm...that's another blog post.
